Be Joyful Always

Being joyful and happy can be hugely beneficial to our health. Being happy promotes a healthy lifestyle. It may also help to boost our immune system. When we are rejoicing, our body benefits, specially our heart and mind.

But how to be happy in difficult situations? Sabi nga sa bible, be joyful always. It is God’s will that you should experience joy.

Paano kung hindi ka na masaya? Pinilit mong maging masaya pero parang dinadaya mo lang ang sarili mo. Siguro dahil sa mga pinagdadaanan mo sa buhay. Nasaktan ka. Naiwan ka. Naloko ka. Sino ba naman ang magiging masaya kung bigat na bigat ka na sa nararamdaman mo?

But how can suffering be joyful? How to be joyful when we are suffering?

Paano nga ba?

Kailangan mo lang tignan ang positive side ng sitwasyon. Focus ka sa magandang mangyayari. Isipin mo na isa lamang itong pagsubok. Meditate the words of God. Tandaan mo hindi diyan nagtatapos ang lahat. Nasaktan ka man o nahihirapan ka man sa sitwasyon mo ngayon lagi mong tandaan that God has a wonderful plan for your life.

“For I know the plans I have for you’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11

Pagsubok lang ‘yan! Sa pagsubok na ‘yan inihahanda ka lang sa mga problema mo pang haharapin. Tandaan mo, trials come to make us strong and to prepare us para sa mga “new things” na inihahanda Niya para sa atin.

In all of this, always remember that you are in Christ. It is his will that you should experience joy in your life. There is a joy that is yours na hindi pwedeng makuha ng iba. Lagi mong tandaan na ang pagibig Niya ang magpapasaya sa’yo. His love gives you joy. Kaya piliin mong maging masaya kaysa ibaon ang sarili mo sa kalungkutan. God loves you. Huwag mong isipin na pinabayaan ka Niya.

“Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you.” 1 Peter 4:12

Pray continually. Huwag kang tumigil. Give thanks in all situations. Ano man ang pinagdadaanan mo ngayon mas kausapin mo ang Panginoon. Marami ka pang pagdadaanang problema sa buhay. Ang mahalaga matuto ka kung paano mo i-handle ang sitwasyon.

Huwag kang mag focus sa bigat ng problema. Huwag mong isipin na dapat kang malungkot o mabagabag sa mga pinagdadaanan mo. Instead, choose joy, pray and give thanks.

“Be joyful always.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:16

He commands us to rejoice always, to pray continually, and give thanks in all situations. We have to fight for joy – nalulungkot ka man ngayon dapat mong labanan ‘yan. Tandaan mo, ang kalaban ay nariyan para sirain ka.

Huwag mong hayaan na matalo ka. Lumaban ka. Talk to God. Ask for the wisdom. Humingi ka ng strength. Ask Him to help you to return back your happiness na pilit na ninanakaw ng kalaban sa’yo. Tandaan mo, hindi dapat mawala ang ‘joy’ sa puso mo.

Pray to God.

“Lord, you are my strength, my healer and my redeemer. You are my salvation and my joy. I give all my worries and cares to you. Fill me with your joy and take a way this sadness. Help me always to remain in Your love, so that my joy might be full. Although we go through times of pain and difficulty. Your promise brings us hope.”
